I am an information professional specializing in the preservation of digital assets, and creating and providing access to digital collections. I believe librarians and archivists are uniquely positioned to take the lead in meeting the challenges posed by digital content, and I hope to use my experience and technical skills to help implement and create more solutions to these digital challenges.

As the Digital Preservation Librarian at the University of Michigan Library I oversee the development of our digital preservation program. This work includes everything from establishing policy to implementing workflows aimed at preserving the Library’s diverse digital collections. For more information on digital preservation at the Library, check out our Bits and Pieces blog.

In my spare time I like hanging out with my family, keeping up with technology, and woodworking (which I share on my instagram).
